Who am I?

My name is Kirstie and I'm in my fourth year of studies at the University of Lethbridge. My major is french/spanish and education of course! I'm really looking forward to the semester and am enjoying my classes thus far.

I was born and raised in Trail, B.C., a very small town in the south. I absolutely love B.C. and plan to go back when I complete my degree. I'd first like to teach in Europe, most likely France and Spain, possibly Belgium as well. I love my major and really look forward to getting the great cultural experience of living in these places. I studied in Quebec City last semester at Laval. It was absolutely amazing; I had the best time of my life! It is a beautiful city and I would highly recommend visiting it if you ever go to Quebec.

I come from a small but awesome family! I grew up with my parents and my older sister. We've always had cats and dogs and my mom, sister and I used to go to horseback riding camps every year which I loved!!

My all time favorite thing to do is dance! I have danced competitively since the age of 7, began to dance when I was 6, and continue to compete to this day with the U of L dance team, which has now become a dance company my instructor started called LA dance. I used to do everything, tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, musical theatre, contemporary and modern. With LA dance we only do jazz and hip hop but tap is definitely my all time favorite. I even took a modern/jazz class in Quebec which was a great experience. Nothing like being the only anglophone in the class!!

NB All assignments are due on the day of class and must be passed by the end of the course.
